algebra problems worksheets

Algebraic expressions worksheets:

The basic arithmetic methods such as subtracting, adding, multiplying and dividing is called algebra. Algebraic expression are useful in variables, constant, coefficients and exponents, conditions and expressions. The basic idea of the algebra is balancing the algebraic equations on equal sides. The algebraic equation is useful in commutative, associative, identities and inverse.
Variable:
The algebraic variable is alphabetic characters. The variables are a, b and c.

Definition:
The probability examples of an event is the measure of how many times event will occur as a result of an experiment. Let us consider the probability of an event A (i.e P(A)) can be defined as the number of ways event A can occur divided by the total number of possible outcomes. The probability of an event A, symbolized by P(A) is given as,
P(A) =
The Number Of Ways EventACanOccur
The total number Of Possible Outcomes
This is the formula for finding the probability of an event.
Whereas,
The Probability is the measure of how likely an event occurs, An event is one or more possible outcomes of an experiment, An outcome is the result of a single trial of an experiment, An experiment is a situation involving chance or probability that leads to results called outcomes.

Mutually Exclusive Events in Probability

A single event can have only one feasible outcome, once an outcome comes there will not be possible of getting other outcomes. This types of results from an event is known mutually exclusive events find probability problems and solutions.

Conditional Probability

Conditional probability is defined as the result of an event depends on the outcome of a preceding event; the Conditional probability of the outcome of a series of events is given as the product of the probabilities of the outcomes of the successive events.
P(A and B) = P(A) * P(B)
The probability of series of events P(A and B) is the product of probability of event A (ie:P(A)) and the probability of the event B (ie:P(B)).

Growing up with Mathematics

Introduction to volume of a square base:
Pyramid is a three dimensional object. It has five vertices and eight edges. A pyramid has different types of bases. They are rectangular based pyramid,square based pyramid etc. A square base pyramid has a base with square shape. In general volume of a pyramid is one third times area of the base times height.

Diagram and Formula – Volume of a Pyramid with a Square Base:

Pyramid with square base
Find the volume of a pyramid with a square base for list of perfect squares
= 1/3 * a2 * h.
Where the side length of a square based is ‘a’ ,pyramid and ‘h’ is the height of the pyramid.

Familiarization with math

Standard Parabola Equation

Find the standard equation:
We have S(a, 0); P(x,y); M(-a, y).
By the definition of conic, we have SP/PM = e
SP / PM =1.
Therefore, SP = PM.
Therefore, SP2 = PM2.
(x - a)2 + (y - 0)2 = (x + a)2 + (y - y)2
x2 - 2ax + a2 + y2 = x2 + 2ax + a2
Simplifying, we will get y2 = 4ax.
The standard equation the parabola is y2 = 4ax.
If the origin is moved to the point V(h, k) and if the new axes X, Y are parallel to x, y axes then the equations for transformations of axes are
x = X + h
y= Y + k
or
X = x - h
Y = y - k

Suppose they think about a parabola with vertex V(h, k) & open to the right.transformations of functions

In terms of Y, X coordinates, the equation of the parabola is of the form
Y2 = 4aX

Learning Math with fun

Introduction to learn geometry fast and free:
This article is going to help us on learn geometry fast and free. we can learn geometry in the very fast manner and absolutely free at online. Geometry is about shapes and its angles, finding area's, volume's. .There two kinds of geometry, 1. Plane geometry ,2. Solid geometry. we can learn these two basic geometry for free as well as very fast manner if we go for online tutoring. let we see some problems for learn geometry fast and free.

Fast and free geometry - problem) find the unknown angle for the given diagram.

Solution:
Here we need to find the value of x
The sum of interior angle of a triangle is = 180o
A + B+C = 180
Here A = 90o and B = 40o
Apply these values in the above formula ,we get
90+40 +C = 180
130 + C =180
Add -130 on both sides,
130-130+C = 180-130
C = 180 - 130
C = 50
The angle of C value is 50o.

Area and perimeter:
If two of triangles sides are equal and the third side is 5 more than the equal sides, what is the length of the third side? If the perimeter of the given triangle is 50 units.
a) 5 units
b) 10 units
c) 15 units
d) 20 units
Do you need geometry tutoring free
Answer: Let x = length of the equal side
P = sum of the three sides
Plug in the values from the question and from the sketch.
50 = x + x + x+ 5
50 = 3x + 5
3x = 50 – 5
3x = 45
x =15
