Growing up with Mathematics

Introduction to volume of a square base:
Pyramid is a three dimensional object. It has five vertices and eight edges. A pyramid has different types of bases. They are rectangular based pyramid, square based pyramid etc. A square base pyramid has a base with square shape. In general volume of a pyramid is one third times area of the base times height.

Diagram and Formula – Volume of a Pyramid with a Square Base:

Pyramid with square base
Find the volume of a pyramid with a square base for list of perfect squares
= 1/3 * a2 * h.
Where the side length of a square based is ‘a’ ,pyramid and ‘h’ is the height of the pyramid.
